Urgent ! urgent

I think my bluetti AC180 need attention from the @BLUETTI_APP @BLUETTI @BLUETTI because it is just weird to me that my AC180 discharging very weird… mean from 100% to 95% in less than 5 minutes… I am solely using it with my Starlink Gen 2… i already calibrated it twice, maybe i should calibrate it few more time (IDK)… You guys at @BLUETTI @BLUETTI @BLUETTI_CARE @BLUETTI_APP already asked my AC180 details and i still have any answers from you… So PLEASE !!! I NEED ASSISTANCE
Thank you!!

Hi @JavaScript_t

the manual of the starlink mentioned a average energy draw about 100W. Which means, that the first few minutes could be actual a lot higher than than the minutes after it (like alignment, searching for sattelit etc.). This could cause the described issue.

Did you let it run and see if the drain is constantly high?

greetings
Erik

Hi @JavaScript_t, I agree with @Selfmadestrom’s opinion that power consumption is higher when the load is first turned on. Please check if the power remains high after the operation stabilizes.
If you still believe the power consumption is too fast, we can push the latest BMS firmware to you. We await your confirmation.

Unfortunately the 100W you’re seen at the manual is for the Generation 3 Starlink not for the Generation 2…
75Watt Max is for Gen 2… and NO, the 75Watt is not actual power consistent, it is around 35Watt to 50Watt goes back and forth… No i don’t let it drain after my 2 calibration i’ve made since a received it… but the way it discharging is concerning because from 100% to 0% is like 10 hours, but at 1% it last a little bit more… i wonder if it normal…
I usually use it for my Macbook Pro 2015 15 inch 85watt… and my Starlink… I trullly wanted to know what is wrong or if it normal… that it discharging that way which i think is fast enough compare to my Jackery 300 that last 5 hour but it’s like an eternity before completely dead… not the case for my AC180… SADLY.
(Update) I just received a new firmware update… i will let you know how it goes after this upgrade. Thanks.

@JavaScript_t it all depends on what starlink you are using. They can be very power hungry.

You could also try the 12v conversion kit which would lower the power usage.

Hi @JavaScript_t, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We believe this it seems normal. Your appliances indeed appears to have a low power consumption. However, please note that in addition to the load devices, the AC180 also has self-consumption, which could affect your test results.
We think upgrading the BMS could better optimize battery performance. At the same time, please note that after upgrading the BMS, it would be best to perform a recalibration.
I hope it does help.
We appreciated @Ktt’s professional advice.
