System switch recovery for AC300

Is it possible to ask someone to send me custom software update that includes System switch recovery option for my AC300?
That way, when the batteries plugged into the AC300 run down, the AC or DC out will automatically turn on when power is restored (from solar panels or mains).
Same as the AC180P.
Thank you for your feedback.

That is an excellent request. My mother-in-law has an AC300 and one B300 that is protecting the refrigerator. After a power failure, the AC300 can support the refrigerator for hours. But sometimes the blackout is long and the AC300 shuts down when the B300 is out of charge.

When power is restored, the AC300 does not restart and charge the battery. Since she has no technical ability (she is 97 years old!), the refrigerator stays unpowered and she loses her food.

If you have solar power, your AC300 should stay on unless the load is greater than the solar charge rate. She has no solar power, and I told my wife that we must install some to prevent this problem. The refrigerator consumes 450 watts, so two 400 W panels should be enough.

Yes it would be really nice if the AC300 got this feature as well. It was a long requested feature since launch.

Hi @Franta, @Raymondjram and @Sideeffect, Thank you for your patience. We do have a new firmware, ARM v4037.70, which can achieve the effect you need. This firmware allows customers to restore the originally set AC/DC output when the power recovers to more than 5%.

Please provide the SN numbers of your AC300 and its current firmware version, and we will apply to push the new firmware for you.

My Battery packs. Are these both compatible with new addons like the DC Hub with the current software?
B300 1021.11
B300K 1067.10

Also included AC200MAX in case there is an update for that as well

Hi @Sideeffect, Only the AC300 has this firmware, and we have applied to push it for you.
They will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.
The AC200MAX does not support this function, I am afraid we cannot push it for you.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE an ARM firmware update was showing to version 4037.70. I updated and it said successful and shows that version now. I don’t see any new options in the settings menu or App though. Is it configurable or automatic? How does it work?

Dear Bluetti Care Moderator.
I am sending you the requested information so that you can send me the new firmware.
My 1st AC300 details:

  • SN:2219000169394
  • DSP Version: 4036.30
  • ARM Version: 4037.07
  • HMI Version: 6035.04

I have two more AC300s, but first I would like to test how the new software works in my first AC300 (after downloading and installing it) and if everything is OK, then I would ask you to send me the software for my other two AC300s.
Thank you very much and have a nice day.
@Franta.

I was half expecting to see a setting on the Power station or the App. I read through the other thread regarding the AC180p and AC70 and they have the setting in the APP under advanced settings. On my AC300 it only shows Max grid input and Grid self-adaption options in that section after the firmware update.

Perhaps AC300 users need to wait for an app update before we can see the option toggle or perhaps it works like earlier versions where there is no toggle but it will remember the state and automatically apply the last state when it gets to +5% charge for 30 minutes or more on solar or +5% with grid power. I haven’t tested if it works yet because my power station rarely gets low but the update to 4037.70 doesn’t seem to have caused any issues with the power station.

Hi @Sideeffect, Thank you for the update. We haven’t configured the corresponding app button for this function, so it can’t be turned on/off via the app.
After upgrading the firmware, this function will be enabled by default.
Yes, please test whether the output will automatically turn on when the battery level recovers to 5%. We look forward to your test results.

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE !

I would also like to request the system recovery update for my AC300 as this is a great feature update!

My AC300’s serial number is AC3002451000818850, the current firmware is listed below:
IOT: v9041.10
ARM: v4032.11
DSP: v4054.04

Thank you!

Hi @hnymann, We’re sorry that not all AC300 units can upgrade to this firmware. Currently, we’ve only completed the firmware for versions starting with ARM 4037.
Your unit has an ARM number starting with 4032, and there’s currently no firmware available to enable this function. We also can’t confirm when the corresponding firmware will be ready.

This is a great feature. I hope it will become available to all AC300 users via a general firmware update. (Not just for users who ask for it)

Ok, I understand the issues with the differences in the units. I will try to keep my eye out for when it becomes available.

Hi @hnymann, I appreciate your kind understanding and patience.
We have also urged the R&D department again.
Hopefully, we can get good news soon.

Dear Bleutti Care.
Thank you for the update.
I had a chance to test it today and everything works as I expected.
After the batteries were discharged, the AC300 turned on again in the morning after sunrise and automatically started to output AC when it reached 5% charge.
Great job!
I would like to ask you to send the same update to my two remaining AC300s as well.
My 2nd AC300:

  • · SN: 2244001398536
  • · DSP Version: 4036.30
  • · ARM Version: 4037.07
  • · HMI Version: 6035.06

My 3rd AC300:

  • · SN: 2213000674195
  • · DSP Version: 4036.30
  • · ARM Version: 4037.07
  • · HMI Version: 6035.04

Thank you very much and have a nice day.
@Franta.

Hi @Franta, Thank you for your update, I am glad to hear that the new firmware is valid.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of ARM firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

My mother in law’s unit serial number is
AC3002134000290438

When I took the picture, the AC300 was powered off, so I cannot post the actual firmware versions, but I updated it in January.

Hi @Raymondjram, We have consulted the technical department on this matter, and they informed us that not all batches of AC300 can achieve this function through firmware pushing. After inquiry, this AC300 cannot be upgraded.
We’re sorry we couldn’t help you. We have urged the R&D department to accelerate the progress of developing firmware for other versions.
