Hi there,
I’m trying to figure out a backup battery system for my stormwater sump pump in case of power outage during a storm. I’m looking at a Reefe RVS680a 240V pump (P1 2kWw, P2 1.5kW, 11.5 amp) which is a pretty heavy cast iron pump with a high flow rate and wondered if any of the bluetti products like the elite 300 or apex 300 be able to run this pump? It does not need to last long, probably only 30 minutes at most as I have a petrol generator for longer power outages. The bluetti units seem ideally suited to the application as they have AC passthrough and automatic power transfer from what I can tell. I just wonder whether the surge power requirements for this pump would be too much even with the 4800W surge function on the Bluetti devices. I would prefer to get a smaller pump if required and use the bluetti if that’s what is required.
I appreciate the advice.

Without knowing how much and how long the power surges during a start its hard to say if it would be ok. I have been meaning to try this with my sump pump, just waiting for a storm during the day when I’m home.
