In the past, even when soaked, the EB70 has worked well after a THOROUGH drying out in bright sunlight. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! It is a sign of a great design!
After all, water doesn’t hurt electronics… it hurts ENGAGED electronics that have power running inside.
This time, I was not so diligent, and after 20 minutes of using AC power, the unit zapped and died. I suspect that was about the time necessary to warm up and engage a cooling fan.
I am in Florida in the United States. Can you recommend a local location where I can drop it off for service? If not, can you recommend one in the US or in North America that I could ship it to?
