Solar Panels used in home back up

I have a camper van that I have converted, and have 360W of Solar panels, hooked up to 2 150 Ahr Lithium batteries. With all the necessary bits in between including 3000 Inverter.
I got to thinking, why not effect a similar Home back up system that would kick in during any Outages. So Bluetti came to mind.
I did some research and ended up purchasing the AC500 with B300S & Panels recommended by Bluetti PV350. Now bearing in mind that this is to be installed at my home permanently , I would intend to fix the Solar panels outside in a permanent position to collect power as would be expected.
It was only when unpacking the PV350, that I read, in the instruction manual that came with it. These Panels must not be allowed to get wet !!!
So, I am completely flummoxed.
If not in an external location, susceptible to wet weather, then where else would I be expected to place them?
So, as a newbie to Bluetti, I thought I would threw it out to more experienced users.

I would appreciate any feedback as to how anyone else has handled this.

If you are permanently installing the AC500 & B300S, I would suggest you need to look at standard house panels for solar. i.e. glass framed 48V. Either roof mounted or angled on a frame in an open area.

So long as you do not exceed the 150V solar input, you need a combination of panels in parallel or series to match the 15A, 150V limit. You can increase solar by adding separate panels to the B300S within the 60V, 10A input limit for up to a further 500W.
The PV350 and similar are designed primarily for portability.

Thank you Mike, for spending the time to reply to my post. Very much appreciated, bearing in mind all the important things like Christmas presents for loved ones,
Let me wish you and your family a peace filled break together.
