I have the Bluetti 200p max and the expansion unit. I will be purchasing 800w flexible solar panels to mount on my van roof. I’m going to need at least a 15’ solar charging cable. The Bluetti maxable length that I found on Amazon is 6 ft. So I plan to search for a different brand. What other spec should I be aware of when looking at other brands? Thanks

There’s plenty of choices for 10 gauge wire, with or without MC4 connectors, on Amazon. Just make sure the solar panel connectors are MC4. Looks like around $30 for a 20’ pair of MC4 cables.

You can also make your own cables but you’ll need a wire crimper and wire stripper. Installing the MC4 connectors is fast and easy with these tools. I’ve done it in the dark while juggling a small flashlight, because I didn’t want to wait until the next day.

On a side note, 800 watt flexible panels look shockingly expensive, but I suppose you don’t want to mount more permanent panels up there like RV owners do.
