I have a Bluetti Elite 200V2. I have 2 solar panels I would like to use with the 200V2.
Here are the specs on the solar panels:
Dokio 410W
VMP 31.00V
IMP 13.09A
VOC 37.08V
ISC 13.24A
I read elsewhere, for another Bluetti system, that going over in amps will not harm the system as the system will only allow the maximum amps (20A in this case) and the remaining is just wasted.
My questions are as follows:
Can I use these two panels in parallel safely with my 200V2?
Will going over the max in amps void or cause any issues with my warranty?
Thank you for your help in advance. I want to be sure of the answers before I hook up and run these two panels in parallel.
In parallel, your total output will be @ 31.0Vmp and limited by the 20A V2 input limit to around 620W Max, which is under the 1200W maximum. I’m assuming they are nominally 400W panels. This will work. However, DO NOT connect 2 panels at this Voc in Series as it will exceed the 60V limit of the V2 and damage it.
Thank you for your response. I will only connect them in parallel, and never in series as I know that will go over the 60V limit.
I was hoping a moderator would chime in and give a response regarding the warranty issue. Even though the internal controller will limit the input to 20A, I want to be sure this will not void or cause any warranty issues.
