It would be great if the app included all the settings for the device. This would be useful if the display fails

What Settings are you missing right now in the App?
You can turn on/off your unit via Hardware Button, turn on/off AC and DC Ports and change the behavior of the UPS.
The only thing you cant really do is to adjust the AC Input Amps

One example would be changing the input setting from PV to Other

For the EP500 at least you can set a max charge and max discharge Level in the app when you enable custom UPS mode.
Display Timeout can be set on the machines touchscreen only as far im aware.
30 seconds is the lowest value
