Refrigerator Fan Draws 0W

The Whirlpool fridge was purchased new this year. I am currently running a 24-hour fridge-on-battery test with my AP300. When the compressor is running, it draws between 86 and 120W, which I understand.

However there are times when the fridge is making noise, with what sounds like fans, but the AP300 shows 0W.

I assume the fans in this case are moving cold from the freezer compartment when it doesn’t (yet) need the compressor. Are the fans really so efficient that they use less than 1W, or does the AP300 power measuring circuitry have a threshold over which the power is indicated as 0W even when it could be something like 2W?

The unit displays apparent power (VA), not true power (watts), although the display will show watts (a bit confusing). The current/voltage sensor in the Bluetti is not very accurate at detecting very low loads, so I think this is why Bluetti made the design decision to not show extremely small AC loads (say under 15 watts) on the display. You can use a true power watt meter (like Kill-A-Watt) to measure low AC loads.
