Do you connect solar panels to one or both AC500s (master and slave)?
.
Does each AC500 manage the SOC of only the batteries connected to each unit, or is there some overall battery management acting as one in split phase configuration.

@St8kout
You can charge one AC500 with solar, or charge two at the same time. It will not affect system stability. If conditions allow, charging two units will result in a more balanced power distribution. Each AC500 will individually monitor and control the SOC of the connected battery.
If I understand this correctly in this setup one AC500 charging from solar will not charge batteries connected to second AC500. Is that correct?
@robert13 Yes. The solar panels are independent in this setting.
PV charging goes through the connection cable. The battery packs of the master and slave units are not connected together by the connection cable, so they are unrelated.
