Hey everyone!
Just received my Apex300 test unit (eu model).
Since there are mostly informations about the US Model, i want to offer you guys as much information as possible for the eu variant.
As always, there will be following videos, review post here. Im also planning to make a live Q&A on my twitch channel about the Apex300. Date still to be determined.
Feel free to leave a follow to not miss it. (Twitch)

Greetings

Hi Erik,
I can start this off
Section 4.1 Power On/Off Number 5 Magic Button
Let’s talk magic. What can the button do? Do you think we can assign functions for the DC hub to this button?
Section 4.2.6 EV Charging Station
Do you have any information about the cable adapter that allows direct EV charging and can this cable be used for other things like direct output of 16A for UK users who are limited to 13A from the plug sockets.

Hi @Sideeffect !
Thanks for the questions.
Magic Button
The Magic Button can be set in the Bluetti App with 5 predefined options:
- Time of use (On/Off)
- Working Mode (Backup/Self-consumption)
- Child Lock (On/Off)
- Grid Self-adaption (On/Off)
- Power Lifting (On/Off)
For now, there isnt any option to freely choose a function it trigger. But i can imagine that this is something they could add in the future.
EV Charging Station
I dont have any kind of accessories with the test device. But there is one thing you might missunderstand (Or do i?
). The Adapter is not meant to charge a EV over Type 2 Plug. Its to recharge the Apex300 from a public Type 2 charger. In germany, the AC Charging stations mostly dont have cables, so you need to bring your own (type 2). The cable have two different ends. One with a big plug thats put in the vehicle and a smaller one that goes in the charging station.
The manual mentioned that you connect both type 2 ends with each other, in that case, the bluetti adapter should be the smaller one and doesnt fit into the EV.
@BLUETTI or @BLUETTI_CARE Do you have some more informations about that?
Hope this answer your questions!

Thanks Erik,
The P050A is bi directional and I thought it can be used to both charge an EV and also be charged from an EV charging station. If you see the image below from the manual it does specify AC Input and Output.
@Sideeffect Yes, its a input and a output. But i think the output will be only used in combination with a Hub A1 to integrate as emergency backup.
Really curios what Bluetti have to say about this. Really interesting question.

Yes I have so many questions about the European version of the Hub A1.
Perhaps Bluetti can send you one.

The current versions of BLUETTI EV charging cables (both US and EU models, single and parallel connection) are undergoing technical adjustments. At this stage, they are not yet compatible with most public EV chargers.
