HI there, i am noticing recently that when i get a sustain PV input around 107W and my AC output load is constant at 75W for a few hours, the state of my internal battery in my AC200L is declining for about 1 % every 30 min. Why is that ? I should have a excess of around 30W going to the recharging of the battery so how can the battery depletes during this time if the AC200L is getting 30W over whats being used on my AC output ?
Hi there @flomotion it’s the inverter loss you are getting (self consumption) there is a break even amount your not far away from it. As you will see from the picture inverter efficiency is 93% and self consumption is 12w nothing to worry about.

thanks for the info, i thought about the self consumption aspect but my reasoning was that it would not be more than 10w. I must admit that i am a bit disappointed after spending a few thousand dollar for a 1kw solar array that, in Canada, solar panels are not very efficient and will take days to recharge a small 2kwh batttery like the AC200L. i figured i would have to spend around 10k in CAD $ here to get a solar array big enough so the AC200L would be recharge every 24h. its really not worth it!
