PV charging AC200L without charge controller… ok or not?

Do I need a charge controller to charge my AC200L with my solar panels?
(My set-up: 4 panels, 100w each, connected to provide 24v at a maximum of 11amps)

@C.P
You can charge directly without a controller. Connect the 4 panels in series.

Thanks for that.
Each panel produces a maximum of 5.5 amps. Wouldn’t connecting them in series exceed the 15 amps maximum limit of the AC200L?

The current does not change under a series connection. :)

I guess my knowledge of electricity is getting rusty. : (
Thanks for that!

It’s rear that panels produce full output and also length of cables etc. Try it and see what you get in a sunny day.

Update: all panels connected in series directly to the Bluetti. I get between 200 and 300 w on a sunny day.
Happy with the results.
Thanks all for the feedback/advice/recommendations.
