Pv 200 solar extension cable

Hello , pls i need your advice on solar
I got eb70 with pv200 but the pv200 solar is not too long , i order for extension 10m 10awg mc4 solar cable and i just found out this morning that my pv200 cable is 12awg , now my question is
If I’m to use the 10awg extension with the 12awg pv200 hope there won’t be any issue due to difference?
So it like this
Pv200 12awg >> extension 10m 10awg >> to my eb70 solar cable to charge it.
hope i won’t have any issue

By converting them to proper units: 10 AWG equals to 6 mmq and 12 AWG equals to 4 mmq.
Your extension cable is perfectly fine to be used since his conductive cross-section is equal or greater. On your case it is greater, and the PV current is not significant to worry about the total cable length.

Hi @dghub

Like mentioned by @ndwr the AWG 10 have a bigger crosssection than the 12 AWG. You cant go wrong with to much, only when its to less. Since you have a kinda long cable, its better to choose bigger than actual needed to reduce Voltage drops.

Do you know what awg does Bluetti use for all their accessories? like their own MC4 solar cable that comes out of the box?
