Bluetti defers to Amazon who sold me my new Elite 100 V2 just last month. Just got the new Elite 100 and when I went through the box I found the ‘GROUNDING SCREW’’ was missing. When I notified the company for a screw they said NOT OUR PROBLEM, CALL AMAZON. Frankly, the company support SUCKS, so a seller handles product problemS not Bluetti ??? SAD.
I didn’t get one either, and I bought it from their Web Site. It don’t look good from the CS it seems.
Edit: Seems I’m getting a grounding screw from Bluetti. Guess because I got it from their web site directly.
It’s just a little screw that comes in a tiny baggie in the box with the cables. Make sure you didn’t overlook it. If it’s really missint, you should be able to use a normal screw in that size. I don’t have mine in front of me but I’m going to guess it’s M4 size.
Nope it wasn’t in the box, I looked, and looked in the box and unfolded the box to look in there.
So far I was promised they are sending me one, but haven’t seen the order of them sending me one. Turns out the ones coming from Bluetti were the clips for battery charging and charging from the cigarette plug.
Add on Edit: Nope so far their CS seems to be dragging their feet on it. But they did say my Elite 100 V2 was new, so the broken seal on the box it came in, not the shipping box, might not of been them sending a Refurbished, Repaired or Returned Unit. The latter if that happened would explain a missing grounding screw.
My concern if they are going to drag their feet past the 30 days of purchase of this Drama Screw Event.
They are sending the screw after all with a Fedex Link. They said it was new but were concerned about the broken inner seal of the original box inside the shipping box.
Figure might as well put down what happened after my previous posts.
My use mainly is my slow solar panel build up and use that 1000 watt solar potential. My electrician friends were telling me the grounding screw would be important for the rig they said they could draw out for me. Mostly for late spring, summer and early fall.
Figures after I got several LiFePO4 power stations Bluetti is coming out with a Sodium Ion unit. LOL.
If any one knows the exact screw specs would work for a grounding screw could help others out and spares are handy!
