. My Premium 100v2 charging station is always kept in a heated room at a temperature of approximately 23 degrees Celsius, and it has always worked properly. However, after updating the firmware, I noticed the following issues. The station automatically turns off if there are no devices consuming electricity, even if Eco mode is disabled. After automatic or manual shutdown, the station does not turn on, regardless of whether the battery is fully charged or at 99% or lower. It does not turn on using the power button or via the high-voltage charging port. The only thing that helps turn it on is a change in temperature, for example, when I take it out onto a cold balcony for about 10 minutes and return the station to a normal environment (approximately 23 degrees Celsius). I also noticed that when turning on AC mode, three relay clicks are audible; before the firmware update, there was only one click. Additionally, when I force the station to turn off using the power button, the relay doesn’t click, even though it did before the firmware update. I suspect this is related to the new firmware, as everything worked fine before the update. Please update the firmware for my charging station so it works properly again.

I received the firmware update BMS v1083.09. Should I update to this version or wait? I saw that firmware BMS v1083.10 is already available on the forum, and people have solved a similar problem using this firmware. I also saw on the forum that this firmware fixed the issue. I also saw that the DSP v220016 firmware update solves the issue with incorrect power consumption readings. Could you allow me to update to this version?
Me and the other guy do have v1083.10, but it didn’t solve anything related to your symptoms. Because we haven’t encountered these issues in the first place (at least not yet).
Your unit is from a batch with a manufacturing defect (temperature sensor, BMS itself, or both), and the only way to solve this is BMS replacement via warranty service, sadly.
If mine gets bricked, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
I suggest you do it asap before the summer hits.
Correlation does not equal causation. It breaks after some period of time (from 1 week to several months) no matter what firmware you have.
Idk how many units Bluetti has sold across the globe, but:
everyone has the same firmware (except 1-2 dudes like me);
it breaks mostly in Ukraine and a couple of instances in Europe/UK.
The conclusion is simple: more stations have been sold to Ukraine, so we know about more malfunctions specifically from Ukraine. I think only users who have experienced problems are writing here. How many users are there who haven’t experienced this problem?
That’s a bold assumption. I don’t think that our market makes even 20% of all Elite 100 units sold around the world.
Pretty sure the US customer still makes the bank (as it should be).
Yeah, and ALL of them are Ukrainians Literally zero Americans.
That’s a crazy coincidence, don’t you think?
I mean, you do you. If you want some sort of placebo and get disappointed in the end, ask for v1083.10.
If it was an easy fix via firmware, I’m pretty sure they would’ve just pushed it to minimize the losses instead of shipping tons of BMS panels across the world.
I’m absolutely certain this is a firmware issue because such coincidences simply don’t happen. IMMEDIATELY after the firmware update, it stopped working correctly. Not after an hour, a day, a week, or a month. IMMEDIATELY.
Well, in your case it was immediately; in most cases it was some time after.
And again, Bluetti did their research and decided to ship replacement parts instead of “fixing it via updates.”
Why would they do that? It absolutely does not matter (financially and legally speaking) if they messed up QC in manufacturing or via software. Consequences are the same: broken units.
Idk what to say to you. I think you’re just wasting your precious time and eventually will warranty-service it.
My station wasn’t purchased from an official distributor in Ukraine. Therefore, the warranty card is blank. I doubt I’ll be able to get it repaired at an official Bluetti service center. Judging by the reviews of other users who sent their stations in for repair, it takes a month. I need it right now.
You need it right now; you’ll need it next month; you’ll need it in the summer and the next winter.
The situation will get worse every month till EOY at least.
You can either pray so it magically repairs itself or make some phone calls. It’s up to you.
