Thanks for your information.
DSP v2200.10 works fine now, output display is better.
But I will do some SOC tests very soon.
After reading many comments, I start to suspect that I will need BMS v1083.10 too for better SOC and remaning time prediction…
Are you satisfied now with your power station ?
Pretty much. Despite using it as a backup, it went through plenty of cycles and has acceptable SOC readings.
No spikes or drops in percentages, linear charging and discharging.
Hello @BLUETTI_CARE @BLUETTI
Hi
I’m experiencing similar issues and would like the latest firmware pushing to my device please.
My current firmware versions of EL100V2
EL100V22537111600674
IOT v8024.12
ARM v2186.16
DSP v2200.14
BMS v1083.08
Thanks
My SOC readings are terrible too…
I am going to ask for BMS v1083.10 like you have.
Did you receive BMS v1083.10 you asked for ?
How are SOC readings ?
Hi @theadviser, thank you for contacting us.
I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.
Hello,
DSP v2200.16 works fine now and as described the output Watt readings are reasonable OK now.
Unfortunately I experience some very unreliable SOC readings too…
I did some experiments with my CPAP which is a low power load of 10-11W average (heater is off)
I used it several nights on my (calibrated) 100V2 from SOC 100% till it shut off.
According to the Bluetti formula:
Runtime = (Battery Capacity × DoD × Efficiency) ÷ (Device Power Draw + 10W Self-consumption power)
with DoD = 0.9 and efficiency = 0.9, I had a total runtime that was pretty close to this formula.
So this is fine.
However…
Between 100% and shutting down the SOC and remaining time predictions were absolute unreliable and far from linear, despite I slept during the same amount of hours every night…
The last night I went to sleep with a SOC of 36% with 35 hours to go but after 5.5 hours
I woke up because the 100V2 went down…
This is of course a terrible miscalculation! Of course I would not have used the powerstation if I knew I had only 5.5 hours runtime left!
So the displayed values of SOC and remaining time are useless now.
And this happens all in despite of the fact that Bluetti states that the powerstation is also suitable for power backup of medical devices.
The 100V2 clearly has problems specially with lower loads.
(maybe because of low resolution AD converters with bad filtering, who knows…)
But I read here in this post that other firmware like BMS v1083.10 or even .99 (?) is available and seems to help.
I don’t know what I need, it is all very confusing…
Bluetti, can you send me the ‘best BMS version you have’ to solve this SOC/time misreadings ?
Thanks !
Thank you. Received an update to BMS v1083.09. Was expecting 1083.10 or do I need to update to this version first? Nothing on the DSP.
Hi @chem, we would like to help you.
However, the SN code for the Premium 100 V2 you provided earlier appears to be incorrect, so we are unable to push the firmware.
Please note that the correct SN code consists of the model name followed by 13 digits.
PR100V2225280000420193
The SN code you provided has 2 extra digits. Could you please send a screenshot of the SN interface so we can confirm this? Once we receive the correct information, we will apply for the firmware push for you.
Hi @theadviser, yes, you are right.
To resolve this issue, simply upgrade the BMS firmware. We recommend performing a full recalibration after the upgrade.
We look forward to your feedback.
Hi @LvdK, thank you for your update.
We have forwarded this issue to our technical team again, and they have pushed the new firmware BMS v1083.09 to fix it.
To resolve this issue, simply upgrade the BMS firmware.
We recommend performing a full recalibration after the upgrade.
We look forward to your feedback.
What’s the difference between 1083.09 and 1083.10 and can I get the DSP v2200.16 update please
Dear @BLUETTI_CARE
Please send me a new firmware (DSP+BMS) for my Elite 100 V2 that will allow the unit to display active power continuously:
SN - EL100V22537116090524
ARM - v2186.16
DSP - v2200.14
BMS v1083.08

Dear @BLUETTI_CARE
I installed the DSP update to version v2200.16.
Now the power consumption are correct. Thank you!
Thanks! I will let you know the results !
