Ok so the BLUETTI app doesn’t have notifications so I didn’t notice my elite 200 v2 had lost power. When looking at the power history, the unit pulled a load of 1370 watts and the breaker tripped. The unit is plugged into a 20A circuit and only has a constant load of about 114w of some network gear. Nothing that would cause a surge of power that high and certainly not enough to trip the breaker. My guess is the energy statistics isn’t showing the surge accurately and the 200 v2 pulled more than 1400w. Did the unit itself cause the surge?
@sisharp
The Elite 200 V2 has a surge power of 2 times the rated power.
The issue you mentioned cannot be troubleshooting at the moment. Could you please let Elite200 run the device for a longer period to see if the problem persists?
Yes I still have the network gear plugged in to see if it happens again. The battery was also at full charge when the spike happened which doesn’t make sense either. Why would the 200 v2 pull more than 1400w with a full battery?
Ok I think I see what may be happening and it is definitely the 200 v2 problem. If the battery charge state drops to 99%, the battery will pull maximum power from the wall.
I have limited the charging to silent mode and it maxes out at about 900w. Otherwise, I believe the breaker would have already tripped and lost power to the unit. The load on the battery is not changing. It’s the 200 v2 trying to get to 100% soc that is causing the problem.

Sorry for late reply.
- What devices do you carry with your Elite200?
- Please provide machine SN and all software versions by the way
- Please provide the history of the error message if you have it
- 1400W may be the power of the device, not the charging power to the Elite200V2, this should be the bypass power. The tech team suggests that you change another device for better troubleshooting and connect the UPS this way to see if the problem still occurs.
