I have an AC500 + B300S batteries + solar panels powering a major part of my home. This is not grid connected but runs on a separate power circuit.
A smaller part of my home is powered by the grid. I have ordered a plugin solar kit with micro inverter for feeding power into the grid circuit by means of a Shuko plug.
What happens if I plug this micro inverter Shuko plug into a wall socket of the Bluetti power circuit?
Hi @Bikerwally
When you plug the micro inverter to a non grid connected circuit, you need to make sure that the microinverter never outputs more than being draw in this circuit. The Microinverter just pushed as much power into the grid as it gets from the solarpanels. When your draw is less than the output, the produced energy needs to go somewhere. Since this circuit isnt connected to the public grid, it cant backflow to this and most likely damage the connected bluetti unit.
The inverters are designed to make AC from DC not to get AC and make it into DC.
Thanks for the info, I had a feeling already something might be amiss.
