Periodic Discharge?

I have an Apex 300 along with a BK300 expansion battery, I read in the manual that they should be periodically discharged however the manual isn’t very specific on the best way to do this and how much.

Should I discharge them until the unit shuts down or is there a battery percentage level that will work just as well?

Also should I not keep it charged at 100%? And if so is there a way to limit the charge percentage?

I’m looking to get the longest life possible from these units so I would appreciate any suggestions.

I know this doesn’t apply to this forum but I also have two EB70s units, I image the same applies to them or should I be doing something different with them?

I keep all of my power stations at 60- 80% when not being used. If I need grid out backup, that’s enough to power what I need temporarily. During such an event, I can take the spares outside to charge fully from a generator or solar. My biggest is the AC200P, 1 x Elite 100, 3 x AC180s and 2 x AC70s (for WiFi UPS).

About 6 monthly, I drain them 1 x 1 to around 5%, recharge to 100%, then drain to the 60 to 80% storage SOC. As I have roof top solar, I do this when there is excess solar going to the grid, so it costs zero $$$.

When using 2 of them for camping, no matter the time, I do a drain to zero SOC, then recharge to 100% to reset the BMS and leave them at 100% for the trip.
