On a single AC500 setup, what comes out of the L14-30 socket?

I’ve just received my new AC500, and am looking to set it up next to my 8kW propane generator as a quiet alternative to firing up the motor during short power outages. I’ve got the NEMA L14-30 generator socket leading into my main panel that the gas generator uses. If I were to plug that cord into the AC500, what is going to come out? I know I won’t get split phase 240 without a second AC500 and a lot of cables and adapters and whatnot. Am I going to get 120v AC lighting up one bus bar on my panel, or 120v lighting up both bus bars, but out of phase? Or something else unexpected?

I suspect you have the US version of AC500? If so, the US version AC500 has only one firewire, so in the L14-30R and NEMA 14-50R sockets, only one firewire has voltage while the other does not.
