Odd display changes on Elite 30 V2

My Elite 30 V2 is connected to grid, set up in standard UPS mode, and is powering a router/modem which draws about 12 watts. It’s charged to 100% using Silent mode and both the front panel display (and the App) show 12W coming in from the grid and 12W going out to the router. I’ve unplugged the unit from the grid and it keeps the router powered and shows the same 12W going to the router with nothing coming in from the grid (since that was unplugged). I normally keep the 30V2 plugged into the grid while powering the router so it can keep the Internet & wifi working in case we have a power failure.

Most of the time it shows 12 watts coming from the grid and going to the router, but several times when it’s been connected to both the grid and router, the number of watts in and the watts out will start changing, even going so far as to hit zero (0) both coming in from the grid and going out to the router. The wattage numbers will also increment up and down in unison between 0 and the correct 12W value. I see these changes on both the front panel display as well as the App. The router remains powered on correctly during all this, so I doubt that the actual wattage is really changing as the front panel and App show, otherwise the router should have been turning off and it did not.

Any idea why this is occuring and should I be concerned that the unit has a problem?
