Hi, apex300 , says new version available, click next , then the next page shows 3 things: AR,. DSP, BMS but no place to click to do the download …thanks
Are you using the App to do this? and, is the Apex 300 turned on?
Is the App up to date?
If all answers are Yes, I suggest you edit your post with @BLUETTI_CARE as the first line of text. This will Tag your post directly to Bluetti’s attention. ![]()
Yes, using the app to update software, any other way to do it ? Yes, updated…@bluetti_care please, help
Not sure on this one, but go to your original post and insert the @ Bluetti_care before your Question. If you type the @ symbol you should see a drop down dialogue box where you can select it.
It may not tag at the end of your reply. By using the dialogue box it is all upper case and typed for you. The same applies if you want to tag other posters as they will see a response directed at them.
Make sure you are connected using Bluetooth and not Wifi. Firmware updates can only be done over Bluetooth.
Hi @JJDD, We’re more than happy to help you.
@Snowstorm’s analysis is very helpful — if you’re connected via Wi-Fi, the firmware upgrade won’t work. Please switch to a Bluetooth connection and try again. If that doesn’t help, please provide a screenshot of the upgrade page, along with your Apex 300’s SN code and current firmware version.
Many thanks to @Mandp for the concern and reminder. Yes, please @ us whenever needed so we can follow up on this matter.
I was able to update my apex 300 no problem and the WiFi issue I must say is resolved. The app has a bug now as every time I click on the apex 300 in my devices list a message pops up indicating a new firmware is available and if I click upgrade it tells me I am up to date.
Have you resolved this problem yet? I have just bought a new Apex 300 and have the same problem.
Nope. Everytime that BLUETTI gives me a soulution it seems to fix it for less than 1 day. The most recent fix was to unhook all 3 apex 300 units from hub a1 then unbind all units in the app then reconnect all 3 units to hub a1 then power on and rebind just hub a1. This resolved the Bluetooth connection problem but the WiFi still only connects to the cloud intermittently. They pushed a firmware update to me for hub a1 that connected me to the cloud for about 12 hours and then I was back to square 1 again. It’s strange because if I turn off solar power to solarx 4k I can get on the cloud which leaves me to believe that solar x4k creates radio interference with the hub a1. If I knew about how poorly BLUETTI handles tech support “usually 4 working days to get back to you” I would have gone with another company. I know it’s not my network because a speed check of my WiFi shows 1gb up and down. Also in the app under network it shows a full signal bar on network but has a red x thru cloud. This tells me one thing the problem is on their servers not in my home. If BLUETTI sold these units by the thousands and did not dedicate enough server sockets that is a bad issue. They won’t admit that so they send endless emails back and forth for a problem they know they can’t fix. So where this leaves me is Only a Bluetooth connection to hub a1 and no means of controlling the units away from my network. The real sad part is I spent over $30k on this system to keep my home off grid and I question if this system will last more than a few years.
There was a bluetti server outage yesterday which was likely causing you trouble, see Server Status: Not Connected - Bluetti Server Outage?
