New Bluetti, PV doesn't work

Hello, everyone!
Just got Bluetti AC300 + 300K battery - all good and working great.
Solar panels SP200L came later, so I did connect them yesterday. Double and triple checked everything. Tried changing input from PV1 to PV2, with the same result:

  • On the main screen I see that the PV is connected (highlighted in orange).
  • Drilling down in the menu, I see the input voltage, it changes between 18 and 22 V
  • However, the W figure is zero, no matter what I am trying to do. And instead of charging, the unit very slowly discharges, about 1-2% per hour.
As all products are brand new, out of the boxes, I may be doing something wrong, most likely…
Your help will be very much appreciated!

Hello again,
Please don’t worry - I’ve figured it out.
SPL200L is simply too weak, supposed to give me up to 200W, when in the shade - it only gives 10-12 W, in direct sun sometimes gets to 140W. A bit of a disappointment- looks like I need the whole week of direct sun to recharge the battery…

Glad you got it figured out. In case you haven’t, try adjusting the angle to point straight (perpendicular to) at the sun midday and see if you get better than the 140w.

Idle power draw of the system is ~60w so you really need more than a single 200w panel to make up for the overnight idle draw.
