When there is no grid input and AC/DCoutput is off, the main unit turns itself off completly aftee 4 hours to limit energy loss. Great feature!
However, we (yes we are many many customers) want to be able to lower that time. Now it turns off too late in the night. Not saving that much and the energy loss is really bad for the planet and my wallet.
Please hear us and implement this.
PS: this is not about the eco mode. The eco mode is for AC/DC output. We are talking about turning off the whole machine.
@SAblue
The tech team responded to your suggestion:
First, our newer models (those produced in 2024 or later) already have controllable ECO mode timers, with options for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours. Additionally, these models will automatically shut down within 1 minute if there is no input or output, which aligns with your expectations. May I ask which model you are currently using?
When the AC/DC output in eco mode is disconnected, and the app is not connected, the system will shut down within one minute. This is the condition that triggers the shutdown.
Hmmm. That would be nice, but not what I have experienced.
Even when the sun goes down and the solarpanel does not work anymore and the grid input is removed and the AC/DC is turned off, this AC200PL still does not go off by itself in 1 minute. It does after 4 hours.
Hi @SAblue
I apologize for the incorrect info earlier.
After further testing and confirmation from the technical team, we’ve learned that only models with a capacity below 2 kWh, such as the AC180 and AC70, can shut down within one minute. Larger capacity models like the AC200L, AC300, and AC500 require four hours in ECO mode before shutting down.
However, I have forwarded this to the R&D team to explore the possibility of enabling a one-minute shutdown feature for the AC200L in the future.
