I need to know, what is the lightest bluetti device, battery, solar generator, etc.… i have an eb3a, which i really like, but which also weighs over 10 lbs, and when i pack it to recharge, my backpack will weigh a whole lot more than i want to carry… and i will have to carry my eb3a to recharge after sitting through this hurricane… (Francine is a fancy-pants name for a hurricane, but i must say, this little lady had some gumption, and she managed to tack on another 10-15 mph, right at the end, while being accosted by high wind shear and severe dry air!!)… i am currently looking at an ac2a, which is, in effect, a lighter version of the eb3a, almost 2.5 lbs lighter, and i can carry that easier… and it is slightly smaller, too, over an inch smaller in at least 1 dimension… that way, i can just leave the eb3a at home, and dedicate it to my solar panel(s)… anyway, thanks in advance, i look forward to hearing from you, and have a great day/week/weekend… …
@mlongue1
The weight of the device is generally proportional to its capacity and power.
Currently, BLUETTI’s lightest power station is AC2A, and there is also an X30 297Wh power bank for CPAP that weighs 4 lbs.
The lightest solar panel was the PV68, but it has been discontinued. The lightest panel currently available is the PV120.
B80 is the lightest expansion battery; its official pairing is with the AC60, which both have an IP65 rating.
Welcome @mlongue1 yes the lightest at the moment is the AC2A pretty small with decent power for its size.
There may well be a product coming to market soon that could fit your needs perfectly if you go and look at the trade show video from Germany I will try and pop a link in,you might see it I think it just might be what you could be looking for sorry I can’t say anymore Bluetti said I can’t
I have the AC20, which I love. This might be a good choice for a backpack because it is very slim. You don’t say what it is you need to power, though. https://www.amazon.com/BLUETTI-Portable-Generator-Off-Grid-Optional/dp/B0CX8MRCMH
i should have been more complete, hurricane or no hurricane… i am using a ps72 to handle things right now, and using my eb3a to charge the ps72 up… i do have a pv120 solar panel that i use to charge up the eb3a, and then use the eb3a to charge up the ps72… and packing the eb3a to the library, or wherever, to charge up, and then bringing the fully charged eb3a home to help fill up the ps72… and the ‘packing the eb3a’ is the issue… 10.1 lbs gets pretty heavy when i get stranded by the bus system, etc., and have to walk the 5-6 miles to get home…
NOW… thanks to everyone for the quick, very helpful responses… now…
1.)Admin, i am definitely looking very hard at the ac2a, and pretty much planning to purchase one… can the cpap devices be used to help charge up my ps72 and/or eb3a?… they are definitely a different shape, and lighter, than my eb3a… i have been wondering about that, as they are less expensive, and i know that the combination of less expensive, lighter weight, and tall/narrow would be perfect, but… there almost has to be a catch, and the obvious catch is that they will not have the power storage, or the power output, to power up my ps72 or eb3a… but maybe enough to help… …
2).Ktt, definitely going to check out that trade show video from germany… and i do appreciate the help… and, after checking online, i really really appreciate the help…
3.)SoulGen, i have checked out the ac20, and i am definitely going to look hard at that, because it it just what you said it is, very slim and small, which would allow me to carry one of my very slim and small and lightweight laptops… thanks for the tip!..
