For 15 years, three rural schools in Lagos, Nigeria, struggled with unreliable electricity. Many families couldn’t afford generators or solar devices, leaving students to study by candlelight.
In July, LAAF delivered 90 Bluetti solar kits to the families who needed them most. When the moment the lights turned on, children’s faces lit up with hope and excitement.
“Thank you for believing in our children’s potential and investing in their brighter tomorrow,” said Mrs. Ameen, school representative.
Each solar kit is a seed planted in Lagos soil—nurturing dreams and lighting the path to what’s possible.
Question I had for a while. These units are usually used in remote locations. Do the people who receive them have any access to repair in case their battery module or solar kit breaks down after (extended) use?
