HubA1 + 3 APEX 300 + 3 B300K, 22kWh in, only 15kWh out

Received HubA1 on Friday to go with 3 APEX 300 and 3 B300K.

Between Midnight and 9:44 am, 22kWh was consumed charging from the grid.

3 hours later, another 1kWh was consumed.
It appears that each APEX 300, plus one B300K, consumes 100W per hour, or 2,400 watts per day, in standby

I unhooked the 3 APEX 300 from the HubA1 to check each APEX 300 + 1 B300K stats, all 3 sets of data were identical

I then discharged via the HUBA1 to my EV, household appliances etc

In a nutshell
7.7kWh used to charge the APEX300 + B300K, resulted in 5.1kWh useable.
1 APEX300 + 1 B300K using 2.4kWh each day idling in standby mode is not the way forward.

Hello, regarding this issue, I have registered a firmware upgrade for you.

for additional reference,
the idle power draw of the of the old AC300 was about ~63w (~1512w/day) and the old AC500 was ~37w. (~888w/day)

this seems to suggest each inverter of the Apex300 idles at ~50w? Since as I understand it- there are essentially 2 inverters in a single apex300,.

Youtubers tested Apex300 idle to be ~27w, and the manual says it should be ~20w.

I wonder if you’d see different numbers if you weren’t using the hub.

Hi, are these all up-to-date?

3 x APEX 300 + 3 B300K, charged from 0.0% to 100%

Hub A1 in parallel for all devices above
Each APEX 300 + B300K = 7.7kWh to charge to 100%

All 3 Apex 300 + B300k standalone
Each APEX 300 + B300K = 6.8kWh to charge to 100%

In addition, when charging from solar, and in parallel mode with HUB A1, each DC input seems to have a 250W limit or 495W per APEX 300.

Solar charging in standalone mode I reached 1.2kWh per APEX 300 (600W per DC input)

So I have 2x Apex300 and a Hub A1, now I don’t have the hub A1 plugged in to anything but I did not when I did it appears to run the fans at a higher speed for no reason, I believe this likely to be your power drain, as to why this happens I am not sure currently I use my setup to run my window unit in my sunroom and for emergency backup when needed, it’s also always on eco so after an hr of no draw from the AC it shuts them off, I don’t even use 1% from sundown when solar is gone until the morning when the sun comes up so 10-12hrs. Again like I said I would check if you have the A1 plugged into the grid check and see if the fans are running, not sure of your use case as you mentioned just receiving it and charging and and discharging for testing. Maybe someone from bluetti can chime in and answer why the fans constantly run with no draw while the Hub A1 is plugged in and not being used?

Hi,
Midnight London time!

3 X APEX 300 + 3 X B300K + HUB A1 100% charged

8.4 hours later with no load, and fans not on!

If I take out the HUB A1, everything seems to work fine.

Yep this is what I noticed as well so I make sure to turn the hub off when not using. This has to be something in the firmware.
