I want to use the AC200Max in a campervan using mainly 12v. I can use the cigarette lighter socket but that wont be enough. Can someone tell me how I can use the other two 12v sockets marked 5521?
If you are talking about the two on the front, they are outputs only. There are some other threads that discuss ways to use the inputs on the side in various ways. The AC input port on the side can be used with something like the D050S, though I’ve never used it myself.
Thanks for the response - appreciated. In fact I’ve since found that I can use the 30A outlet on the front. I just need to purchase a male aviation fitting.
One other question - do you happen to know if all outlets will provide power at the same time or is there a restriction?
Thanks again
Yes, you should be able to use all at once, but some share max output. for example, cig out, and the two 5521 are all rated at 10 amps, but they share that 10 amps. All three can be used, but total amps is limited to 10.
The manual also states that “30A Max. current for all DC output ports.”. I think that means any amps pulled from the other three mentioned reduce from the 30 amps you pull from the RV plug. Maybe someone who knows more about it or has tested it can add to this.
Some of the USB ports share maximums too.
Thanks again appreciated
