How to undo Bluetooth password requirement

AC500 lost my Bluetooth connection, and while trying to restore it I accidentally turned on the password requirement, which sucks because now it wants me to enter it EVERY FREAKIN’ time I want to check the battery reserve. How do I undo it?
.
I forgot that the easiest way to restore lost Bluetooth is to reboot the AC500. It was at night so I didn’t have to disconnect all the solar panels.

@BLUETTI_CARE
Interesting question, I’ll tag this to Bluetti as I have 4 power stations with this function.

Apart from your issue, what I would like to know is this;

  1. When a Password is set in the App, does this get sent to and stored in the power stations memory, or, is it only stored in the App?
  2. If I were to forget or lose my password to a power station, is there a way to reset or reboot i.e. a factory reset or other method to set a new password or remove it?
  3. I have more than one device to monitor my power stations via Bluetooth. If I set a password using my mobile phone App for a power station, does this automatically require the same password to be entered if I were to, say, use my Tablet to monitor that power station? If so, this tells me the password is stored in the unit not the App.

    Thanks :smile:

Hi @St8kout, we would like to help you.
Please bind the AC500, enter the settings mode, and then turn off the Bluetooth password function.
Please let us know if this works.

Hi @Mandp, Thank you for your attention to this issue.
The Bluetooth password is stored in the app. When you forget the password, you can directly unbind the unit and then rebind it.
We hope this helps.

@BLUETTI_CARE - Thankyou for that information. :smile:
