Hi everyone,
I am using an AC500 with a B500K battery in a standalone garage (off-grid).
I am looking for a way to automate the AC output based on the State of Charge (SOC) to protect the battery and ensure stability. Specifically:
- Automatic Cut-off: AC output should turn OFF at 10% SOC
- Automatic Restart: AC output should stay off until solar has recharged the battery to 50% SOC.
My questions to the community and the Bluetti Team:
- Is there a native way to implement this SOC Hysteresis (Lower threshold vs. Recovery threshold) within the current firmware?
- If Bluetti cannot do this natively: Does anyone use an external solution? I am thinking about Home Assistant via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, or maybe a specific smart relay that can read the Bluetti’s SOC and trigger the AC output?
I want to avoid “relay chattering” and system instability during low-sun periods in winter. Any advice on external controllers or workarounds would be amazing!
Best regards!
Hans
