HELP WITH Duration of BluettiAC200MAX

Hello everyone,

Need some help here!
I´ve got a Bluetti AC200MAX and I just got myself a caravan. I was suggested to buy the HABA Sunnywarm 70 electric heater. It´s connection voltage is 230V AC and Power consumption 500-1000W.

What I need to know is: with the Bluetti fully charged, how long would I be able to keep the heater running to warm up my caravan? Cold winter nights still to be faced…

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!

Hi @angela00

welcome to the bluetti community forum! Good to have you here!

To calculate the approx. runtime of your AC200MAX with the Heater, you need to fill this formular:

capacity * DOD * n ÷ (load + self-consumption). @BLUETTI @BLUETTI_CARE can you provide us with the DOD, Effiency values (N) and the self-consumption for AC200Max?

greetings
Erik

Hi @angela00, I appreciate your interest in Bluetti.
The power variation of your heater is too significant; the difference between 500W and 1000W is very large, which could lead to errors in the calculation results. Could you use a test meter to measure the average power?
We thank @Selfmadestrom for the detailed explanation. Here, we would like to add that the AC200MAX’s DOD is taken as 90%, and the efficiency value (N) is calculated at 88%.
The self-consumption of the AC200MAX is 5.6W, 20W when AC output is turned on, 6W when DC output is turned on, and 32W when both AC and DC outputs are turned on simultaneously.

It also depends on the outside temperature, the degree of insulation of your caravan and the temperature you want inside. I’m afraid you’ll just have to try it out!
