Hi all together, I hope you can help me a bit and give me a go for my solar panel plan for my ep500pro.
First, I´m sorry for my english, I´m a bit older and came from germany, so my english isn´t the best, but I will try to write my question as clear as I can.
I plan to put 2 solar strings to my bluetti EP500Pro and after some search I found 2 module series which could be fine. I will upload the datasheets in the attachment of my post. As far as I know is the DC solar input for the EU version of the EP500pro regulated to max. 150V - 12A - 1500W each string. After some google search I found a statement, that the vurrent of 150V is the most important thing to look at to avoid damages at the mppts in the device. So I found some Luxor panels which should be fine for my system, I will connect 3 modules at 425W each in a line to each DC1/2 solar input of the EP500pro. So I will use 2x 3 modules for each string connected in a row, not parallel. (I hope you understand what I mean)
So just a quick question if I´m right with the installation plan I have. The Topcon 425W fullblack modules are my favorite with 3x 425W=1275W / 3x38,2V=114,6V / all at around 13-14A
The HJT Version would also be fine, if they fit better. (But the not fullblack)
Responce (if my plan is OK) or help/tips would be great, thanks and have a great time…
Ok, mein Englisch ist auch nicht so toll, dann antworte ich Dir gleich mal auf Deutsch.
Also ich habe die EP500 Pro jetzt seit ca. 16 Monaten. Seit letztem Jahr habe ich 3 Module in Reihe an einem String des Wechselrichters. Die PV-Module in Südausrichtung und von den Werten der Trina Vertex kam ich knapp über 150 V. Die 150 V erreiche ich de facto nicht, weil bei optimaler Sonneneinstrahlung die Hitze der Module die Spannung verringert. Ich hatte zweimal den Fall, dass im Frühjahr bei niedrigeren Außentemperaturen die 150 V überschritten wurden, da hat die EP500 Pro einfach den PV-Eingang abgeschaltet, bis ich wieder drunter war.
Prinzipiell kannst Du das so machen, wie Du es beschrieben hast, allerdings bringen meine 3 Module soviel Energie, dass die Bluetti sehr schnell voll ist, sodass ich bezweifle, dass Du wirklich 6 Module in der Größe benötigst. Wo willst Du mit der ganzen Energie hin, wenn die Bluetti voll ist? Ich habe nicht geschaut, was Deine ausgesuchten Module kosten, habe mir jetzt noch eine AC500 mit über 6 kWh Speicher gegönnt und dazu die neuen AIKO- Module an der Südwand des Hauses mit 15 Grad Winkel, weil mir der Winterertrag besonders wichtig ist. Die Module gab es glücklicherweise in meiner Nähe als Osterpreis für 85,- € das Stück und da habe ich jetzt tatsächlich 2 Strings a 3 Module dranhängen.
Schau mal bei youtube nach diesem Video: Neue AIKO-Solarzellen schlagen jede PV-Technik! Sie haben etwas über 40 V mit besagten 435 W, damit ist es zumindest von den Werten besser als bei den Trina Modulen und ich denke deutlich preiswerter als die bifacialen, full-black sowieso.

I still have the other system and use it to feed in, I want to have enough energy in winter to charge the 5kW of the EP500pro, hence the lavish equipment. In the future I want to use a feed-in inverter on the 12V30A connection to cover the base load in the house. From midday there is always someone present and there is always ~300W+ base load. I’m still in the discovery phase, if necessary I’ll put 2 devices on the outputs, then my other system will feed in more and the Bluetti will take over most of the house. (Perhaps a switch to an 800W inverter is also an option? )
Because of the SENEC storage problem, I only purchased the EP500Pro, the SENEC 7.5 kW storage is only running at 70% because of the fire problem.
In the long term, the price isn’t that important to me, I have Ampere Black modules on the roof and want to have matching glass/glass modules so that it fits better in terms of color. The Luxor performed very well in the current panel test and are therefore my first choice. But now I can be sure that it will work, I just didn’t want to make any initial mistakes and waste money pointlessly.

Ich habe ja noch die andere Anlage und speise mit der auch ein, ich will dann halt auch im Winter genug Energie haben um die 5kW der EP500pro zu laden, daher die üppige Ausstattung. An den 12V30A Anschluss will ich dann noch einen Einspeisewechselrichter betreiben um die Grundlast im Haus mit abzudecken. Ab Mittag ist immer jemand da und da sind ~300W+ Grundlast immer vorhanden. Ich bin halt noch in der Findungsphase, zur Not packe ich auch 2 Geräte an die Ausgänge, dann speist meine andere Anlage eben mehr ein und die Bluetti übernimmt den Großteil vom Haus. (Evtl. ist auch ein Umschalter auf einen 800W Wechselrichter eine Option? )
Wegen der SENEC Speicherproblematik habe ich die EP500Pro ja erst angeschafft, der SENEC 7,5kW Speicher läuft ja wegen der Brandproblematik nur noch mit 70%.
Langfristig ist mir der Preis nicht so wichtig, habe Ampere Black Module auf dem Dach und will dazu passende Glas/Glas Module haben, damit es “farblich” besser passt. Die Luxor schneiden im aktuellen Paneeltest sehr gut ab und sind daher meine erste Wahl. Jetzt kann ich aber sicher sein, dass es passen wird, wollte halt keine Anfangsfehler machen und Geld sinnlos verbrennen.

The datas looking better than the Luxor modules and the price is near the same.
