Heat generated while charging

I am a new Bluetti AC200MAX owner. I am wondering just how much heat does the unit produce while charging? And how much while in use?

@Prsather There is no accurate data on the heat dissipation of AC200MAX. May I ask what you specifically want to do?
AC200MAX has fans inside to dissipate heat, and the fan speed can be intelligently adjusted according to the charging power and ambient temperature.

Hi @Prsather

As already menioned, there is no accurate data about this. But is really advisable to place the unit not into a shelf or somewhere, where isnt enough airflow.

Hope thats the answer you looking for

As with most items that consume power, heat is generated and is very subjective. Apart from the power used when charging, which is variable depending on charge setting and battery state of charge, ambient temperature and airflow also impact. As mentioned above, a good airflow won’t occur if the unit is surrounded by walls and shelves. It’s the same logic as fridge/freezers, particularly portables. • Make sure the area where you are using the unit is well ventilated and spacious. This is copied from the AC180 manual. My Victron inverter states a minimum 0f 10cm (4") clearance at the vents. The other aspect to consider is, even if well ventilated, DO NOT place anything that is highly inflammable to close to any heat source such as a Bluetti air outlet.
