Is anyone here using the ground thread lug on their EP500Pro and if so how are you doing so?
I’m commenting in the hopes someone has an answer to this.
I just went today to try to resolve a potentially related issue - plugging into a GFCI outlet, trips the breaker (on the outlet, not fuse panel), and some research led me to think that maybe I needed to use the grounding lug there to feed in a bolt.
I can tell you the bolt is NOT an M5; but an M5 does fit the same port for the Apex 300. M4/3.5… next step when I go back into town to try to solve for the problem myself while Bluetti Support gets back to me.
Weird thing is, the issue only just started happening this past week, and I swear, once, I saw it say error, something to do with the current, but then when you go to the alarms, history, etc. there’s nothing, so clearly there’s no error. LOL
No grounding answer, but yes Bluetti, or at least the EP500Pro does a miserable job of logging errors that appear on the screen. I’ve gotten maybe a dozen errors about over voltage or batteries or other issues and had maybe 2 of them logged in the alarms log.
