Hi Greg @knightstale04
I have reviewed the docs and forwarded to the tech team.
The team responded to your questions as follows:
- WIll the AC300 be OK supplying power to some ungrounded AC outlets?
Yes, it can. However, it is important to note that some devices require grounding. For example, loads like water heaters need to be grounded to operate. Additionally, some users use surge protectors, which also require grounding; otherwise, they cannot be used. The reason a surge protector may not work is due to its operating principle: it needs to direct high voltage electricity into the ground. The BLUETTI units are floating grounded, so the high voltage has nowhere to go, making the surge protector unusable. - The PV input is independent, and the AC300’s dual firewires will not affect the PV input, which remains at 4800W.
