Feature Request - User-Configurable SOC Hysteresis for AC500, AC200PL, and PR200V2

Dear Bluetti Development Team,

I own multiple Bluetti units (2x AC500, AC200PL, and PR200V2) and would like to request an important battery longevity feature.

Current Issue:
When I set SOC High to 80%, the system constantly cycles between 80% and 81%, creating unnecessary battery stress through frequent micro-cycles.

Proposed Solution:
Implement user-configurable SOC hysteresis with:

  • Upper threshold: User-set value (e.g., 80%) - current high soc
  • Lower threshold: User-configurable offset (e.g., 50% or 30% below upper)
  • Default behavior: Keep current tight cycling for users who prefer it
  • Optional setting: Allow users to enable wider hysteresis bands

Benefits:

  • Significantly reduces battery cycling stress
  • Extends overall battery lifespan
  • Maintains system functionality while improving longevity
  • Gives users control over their battery management strategy
  • This feature would be valuable across your product line, especially for users with permanent installations or frequent use scenarios.

Thank you for considering this enhancement.
Best regards,
Przemek
