[Feature Request] Dual SoC Limits: Independent Charge Thresholds for PV and AC (Grid)

Hi BLUETTI Team,

I am a very happy owner of a BLUETTI Elite 200 V2. First of all, I want to say that your hardware is outstanding—the build quality and performance are top-notch.

I am writing to suggest a software enhancement for the BLUETTI App that would significantly improve battery health management for users with hybrid setups (Solar + Grid).

Current Setup: I currently use the “Customized UPS” working mode with a SoC setting of 15% - 100%.

The Challenge: I use solar panels daily for about 6 hours. During this time, I would prefer the battery to stop charging at 80% or 90% via PV to avoid constant micro-cycles at 100% and prolong the LiFePO4 lifespan. However, when charging from the AC Wall Outlet (Grid), I would like it to reach 100% to ensure the BMS stays calibrated and synchronized.

Feature Proposal: Add a functionality within the “SoC Settings” that allows users to set independent maximum charge limits based on the input source:

  • Max Solar SoC: (e.g., User set to 85%) - Stops charging from PV once reached.
  • Max Grid/AC SoC: (e.g., User set to 100%) - Allows full charge when plugged into the wall.

This “Dual Limit” approach would give users total control over battery degradation during daily solar cycles while maintaining the convenience of a full backup when the grid is available.

I believe this feature would put BLUETTI even further ahead of the competition in terms of smart energy management.

Keep up the great work!

Best regards,
Tony
