Feature Request: allow Bluetti app to run on macOS

Feature request:

It would be wonderful if the Bluetti app could run on macOS. The Victron app allows this, for example.

The app developers can make some changes and set some flags so the iPhone and iOS apps will run on macOS (only available for Apple Silicon macs, e.g. M1, M2…)

I’ve actually been thinking the same thing. It feels like a missed opportunity that the Bluetti App isn’t available on macOS, especially now that Apple Silicon Macs can run iOS apps pretty smoothly. I use the VictronConnect app as well, and having it on Mac makes monitoring and tweaking settings way more convenient when you’re already working on a laptop.
I understand, it’s not even a full rewrite; just enabling the right settings in Xcode could make the iOS version available on M1/M2 Macs. Even if it’s not perfectly optimized at first, it would still be super useful for users who manage their setups from a desk. Hopefully, the Bluetti team considers this, because it would make a big difference for day-to-day usability.

Agree, I think it’s really not much work for the developers to allow the app to work reasonably well on macOS.

In the mean time, us end users can use iPhone Mirroring to use the app on your iPhone inside a window under macOS.

And while working on that, maybe create a Linux AppImage and a Windows .exe (could be a standlone w/o installer, similar to an AppImage) for the other systems most commonly used. Why force usage of a mobile device? Mobile first - ok. But mobile only - not so good.

“I completely agree. Since modern Macs run on Apple Silicon, the developer likely just needs to enable the ‘Mac’ destination in Xcode. It would require minimal effort but provide huge value for users who want to monitor their power stations from their desks. Additionally, an Apple Watch app for quick SOC (State of Charge) checks would be a fantastic addition to the ecosystem.”

Does the BLUETTI company ever respond to these questions or reply with why they aren’t making access to our own battery modules available to us as owners? Even just a web interface or an API interface?

Agree with Feature Request: allow Bluetti app to run on macOS.

Agree with others that platform independent access should have higher priority than the iOS app.

Thinking that iPhone Mirroring in iOS/OSX 26 would be a local solution, I found that the Bluetti iOS app does not find my Elite 100V2 via a Bluetooth scan while controlling the phone app from my laptop.

If you connect via Bluetooth in the Bluetti app prior to locking your phone, you can later connect to your phone from your Mac and see the Bluetti bluetooth data in the app.

Cloud connections work as expected under local iPhone Mirroring to use the Bluetti iOS App.
