I have a mix of Bluetti and Ecoflow products, a few of the AC300 and B300. I need more batteries so am looking at more charging options.
I have two generators that are not inverter based for the RV. One I can get to work sometimes in a pinch if I quickly get to the generator under load and adjust the frequency to 60hz. I try not to do this much since not pure sign wave.
One option I did to get around that works (when 2 am and getting to zero degrees outside) is I have the RV hooked to the generator and an adjustable DC power supply running from the RV 110V providing PV input. Got the idea from Hobotech.
I am now seeing Ecoflow has something called the EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger and with the right cable modifications I was wondering if this could be a good option for even more recharge option. Or, does Bluetti have something similar? I am basically looking for the fastest way to charge the batteries (without damaging them) when there is no solar input. Even with additional B300 batteries I want options.
Conversion from AC from the generator back to DC got me another option to get past dirty power but it is not high enough wattage, that 800W from Ecoflow option I would just turn the RV on and use house batteries. thoughts?
