I’m writing to report a recurring issue with my two AC200L power stations, purchased approximately four months ago. Both units have intermittently experienced the same malfunction (3-4 times per unit):
Issue details:
When the unit is connected to grid power during an outage
Upon power grid restoration
The station properly detects grid reconnection
Fails to initiate internal battery charging
Continues draining battery until complete depletion
Temporary solution applied:
Factory firmware reset through the mobile app restores charging capability.
Request:
Is there any firmware update available to permanently resolve this issue? I would appreciate technical guidance regarding this matter.
for me its seems more like a issue with unstable grid voltage than a actual problem with your AC200L. Its highly unlickly that both units have the same error at the same time.
First of all, i just would to enable “Grid self adapt” mode. Which adapt your grid frequency to a certain part. If this still not helps, than a custom firmware can be pushed for lower voltage acceptance to my knowledge.
Hi @Rafael, We believe this issue may be related to an unstable power grid.
Thank you to @Selfmadestrom for the analysis, it makes perfect sense, and your suggestions are spot on.
Yes, please provide the SN code and current firmware version of your AC200L, and we will push the new firmware for generator compatibility. Afterward, try enabling the Grid Self-adaption feature again.
