Hello, I bought a AC200PL station. A question arose during use. When AC is turned on, a small sound appears, which disappears when using devices with a power of more than 500 w. Is it a defect, or is it the norm? Previously, there was a station EB70 it did not have such a sound. Recorded sound on video: https://youtu.be/XMPlGFol7K8
Hi @Ilia
welcome to the bluetti community forum. Good to have you here!
I know this buzzing sound from my AC200L as well. Mine is really quiet and nearly unnoticble. When i see the video, it also appeared really silent.
Would say, its totaly normal, especially when its only appear on high loads.
greetings
Erik
Hi @Ilia, We carefully reviewed the video you provided and found that this is the buzz sound produced by the current when the unit is powered on. The volume is very low, and it can only be heard when you’re close to the ventilation area. Therefore, we believe this is normal.
As a larger unit, the AC200PL will have a higher noise level compared to smaller models like the EB70.
Thank you to @Selfmadestrom for the response and sharing; this is absolutely correct.
Hi Erik
Thanks for the answer
Yes, nearly unnoticble. Only at high loads, on the contrary, it disappears.
Apparently, this is the norm, if I’m not the only one who has this sound.
It would also be interesting to hear the manufacturer’s comment.
Thank you for the information, I hope that this will not affect the service life of the charging station in any way.
Hi @Ilia, Yes, this will not affect the battery life.
If you’re interested in battery maintenance, please take note of the following suggestions, which we hope will be helpful.
- Never store the battery empty, even for only a few days. LiFePO4 batteries might be unrecoverable if stored empty.
- Storage temperature: 0-40℃. Don’t store the battery in a humid environment. Keep it away from fire as well.
- The optimal state of charge for long-term storage is 40-60%.
- The battery will slowly self-discharge over time. The battery should be recharged every 3-6 months.
- Don’t store the battery on its side. Keep it up straight.
- Don’t stack things on top of the unit. Don’t block the fans.
