I bought the AC300 with B300 in April 24. I have only tried to use it for emergency backup when grid power is down. I keep getting the error codes 011 and 012 Bus voltage high. Has anyone else experienced this and what could be causing it?
Hi @Murph, Can you tell us which country you live in, and if you have connected the AC300 to the home distribution panel directly?
The 011/012 H Bus voltage is too high indicating a hardware BUS overvoltage. During the process where the inverter converts DC to AC power, the voltage needs to be raised to a high level before being converted into AC through a full-bridge circuit. This high DC voltage is referred to as the BUS voltage.
The occurrence of a BUS overvoltage fault may be due to specific inductive loads. When encountering loads with significant surge power fluctuations, such as air conditioners or printers, these loads can cause the BUS voltage to fluctuate drastically, leading to an inverter fault. We have developed new firmware to adapt to these special loads and prevent such faults.
Another possible cause could be that the portable power station was directly connected to the home distribution panel. We recommend that customers upgrade to the latest DSP firmware and install a Transfer Switch to isolate the connection before using it, otherwise, the error will persist.
Hello, I live in Australia. The AC300 is connected to the switchboard by two switches. The first is a manual switch that I turn on when I know that there is going to be a scheduled power outage. The second is an automatic changeover switch that powers up the inverter when the grid power is off. When the grid power resumes it reverts to that source without interruption to the supply. We are conscious of the limitations of the battery and do not use air conditioners or the microwave oven, or even the washing machine when the grid power is off, and in any case the error codes appear almost immediately (within minutes) after the changeover switch activates. I have sat in front of it and watched the panel and the inverter shuts off when the voltage increases from 240v (standard in Australia) to 243v. This seems to be a very narrow margin to me, but I am not an expert in this field. Please tell me how to upgrade to the latest DSP firmware. Thanks in advance.
Hi @Murph, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
Can you tell us the SN number and the current firmware version of your AC300?
Then we will push the new firmware to your AC300.
Sorry for the delay in replying as I’ve been away. The SN number is SN2235000980565. DSP version 4036.30, ARM version 4037.07, HMI version 6035.05. I hope this helps.
Hi @Murph, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We have found that your DSP is already on the latest version.
To troubleshoot the issue, we would like to know how you have connected the transfer switch. Could you please record a video, upload it to a cloud storage service, and share the link with us?
We will continue to follow up on this issue.
By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.
Hi @Murph, We haven’t heard back from you in a while and wanted to check if the issue has been resolved.
Please feel free to contact us if you need our help.
