Hi, I have an AC 300 + 2 B 300.
2 series of 2 solar 425w per panel, using the connector of Bluetti to paralel the 2 series and connect to the AC 300. I regularly get error 065, PV paralleling error (but that also disappears again). See enclosed pictures. Does anyone know the reason and a solution?
Thank you for your assistance, Roel
Hey @Roel
to be honest, i dont understand why you even connect it like that. You have 4 Panels and 2 pairs that connected in series. Why not connect Pair 1 to MPPT 1 and Pair 2 to MPPT 2?
When connected like mentioned, you dont need PV parallel at all.
greetings
Erik
Hi @Roel, @Selfmadestrom’s opinion is correct. Please turn off the PV parllel, connect solar panels and try again. Does it help?
Hi thank you and thank you Erik. Unfortunately you need to treat me as the idiot I am (my apologies). Installation was attempted as in pic from the manual. Apparently incorrect.
I do not understand to which insert I have to connect each string individually (or which cable I need to order/buy for that) . The pic enclosed shows what I have in possibilities, how do I know what is MMPT 1 and 2 ? I can only see one port on the AC 300 with DC input.
Unfortunately the system does not allow me to include picture I took from the manual on page 22 anymore.
Kind regards Roel
The solar input cable that you have comes with 2 pairs of connectors. Check for labelling on the connector so that you can determine which is the pair for MPPT1 and which is for MPPT2. You then connect your 2 series solar panels to the MPPT1 pair, and the other 2 series panels to the MPPT2 pair. Don’t mix/cross any of the connectors like you were doing previously in your drawn diagram.
Hi @Roel, I’ve included the AC300 manual and the solar charging cable.
@aaron33’s explanation is absolutely correct. The solar charging cable has two pairs of connectors, and each pair corresponds to one MPPT input. Please follow the diagram in the manual to connect two sets of solar panels in series. This setup will ensure you achieve optimal charging performance.
Thanks Aaron and Bluetti. It is connected exactly as in the part of the manual as you enclosed and as Aaron mentioned. Should parallel setting be on or of in that case?
Kind regards
Roel
For this case you would turn parallel mode off. I also have two sets of solar panels going into my AC300, and I have one set to MPPT1, and the other to MPPT2, and I have parallel mode off also, and it works well.
Hi @Roel, please note that @hnymann’s answer is correct. Please turn off the parallel mode and let us know if it does help.
Hi, thanks all for your input in this matter. It seems to work OK with parallel mode of. For this topic is now closed.
Kind regards
Roel
