EP600, How can we implement grid-friendly PV-charging?

By design, the EP600 starts charging the batteries as soon as the first rays of sunlight hit the panels and only stops when the SOC reaches 100%. Unfortunately, this is precisely the time, around midday, when all PV systems are feeding more electricity into the grid than is being consumed.

It would be more beneficial for the grid – and preferable – if I could get the EP600 to first feed everything I don’t consume myself into the grid, and then, around midday when everyone else is feeding in, charge my own battery.
.
How do I achieve this? It simply isn’t possible using the EP600’s built-in tools (app)! I’ve been waiting over a year for the EP600’s HA integration and, to be honest, I no longer believe that BLUETTI will or even wants to implement it at all.
.
My (cumbersome) workaround at the moment is to use an ESP32 controller to access the EP600’s Bluetooth interface and send the (painstakingly discovered) commands, so that the EP600 stops charging and only starts again around midday…

.
However, I find it truly regrettable that BLUETTI offers absolutely no support in this regard, particularly as it enables the grid-friendly battery charging management that is widely advertised and demanded.
