Hello, some minutes ago i hear a bip sound coming out of my bluetti ep500 and when i checked the alarm history show me this error “BMS Overvoltage 058” is this a software error or hardware problem?
Ok i will and will reply again if the problem still exist.
silly question but does that simply mean to take the unit from 100% to zero and then back to 100%
When the unit is fully charged use it until goes to 0% and then charge it again to 100%.
Hi @daltonivy, I appreciate your interest in Bluetti.
Yes, when recalibrating, please charge the unit to 100%. This is to set the correct starting point (0%) and ending point (100%) for the power station, maximizing the utilization of its full capacity.
In many cases, recalibration can resolve a variety of battery issues, such as rapid charging or discharging, or situations where the state of charge (SOC) seems inaccurate.
Please follow the steps below to recalibrate it:
- Please discharge all the power (charge AC & DC appliances with the power station) until the SOC is 0%, turn off the machine, and leave it for 3 hours till it cools down.
- Please charge it again, please do not load any device when charging it, and do not interrupt it while charging.
