Trying to charge bluetti from a battery - Have a 60V–>12V buck converter to the XT60 port on the front.
The Converter works fine to an MPPT controller I have, However with the 30V2 I hear a relay click on and off every few seconds.
I am just wondering what the minimum voltage is for the PV port to start charging things. It seems to really absorb a lot of power at once when that relay clicks, and my voltage sags quite a bit, so I’m assuming it drops below spec and flicks off.
To better assist you, could you please confirm if you are able to charge normally using solar power (PV) and car charging? This information will help us determine if the issue is related to the MPPT controller.
Hello, It seems that the issue may be related to excessive current ripple from the buck converter. We can optimize a firmware version for you to try.
Could you please provide the serial number (SN) and firmware version of your device? This will help us assist you better.
