i have two 126w sunflare 20v panels wired in series. is there any benefit to enabling the high current setting on the unit? the unit reports around 35v on the solar input when charging. based on the manual i don’t think it matters but i’m not sure how that setting affects the charging algo.
thanks
@ndamico Hi Nick,
The PV input mode supports enabling high current input mode: when this mode is enabled and the input voltage is between 16V and 60V, the maximum input current limit can be increased to 20A.
When the input voltage is below 30V, the maximum input current is limited to 8.2A; when the input voltage is above 30V, the maximum input current can reach 20A.
Note: If your system uses a 24V battery or a 24V cigarette lighter socket, it is recommended not to enable the PV high-current input mode, as this may cause the battery to discharge excessively.
