Elite 100 v2 Turning outputs off w/app connection

I have noticed several times that when I connect with the app via Bluetooth to my Elite 100 v2 when it is running that the unit will turn it’s outputs off. I can immediately turn them back on. It is starting to seem like this only happens the first time I connect with the app after the power station has been turned on, but I have not done any tests to verify this theory yet.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior? When I checked a few days ago it said I am running the latest firmware. I have the WIFI antenna disabled in the unit.

I haven’t noticed this, you said first connection only?
Perhaps there is a bug in the app. Will updating the app help?

Yes, I’ve seen a few people mention the same thing. It seems to be a quirk where the first Bluetooth handshake after powering on temporarily interrupts the outputs. After that, reconnecting doesn’t usually cause the issue again until the next restart. If you’re already on the latest firmware and have Wi-Fi disabled, it’s probably just how the unit handles initial communication.

I just ran another test. With the unit plugged into AC /grid power, I turned the unit on, turned on DC and AC outputs, then turned on my phone’s bluetooth, opened the app, and connected via Bluetooth. Shortly after the powerflow display screen comes up in the app, the unit resets itself.

Both outputs turned off, the power button indicator light and the display screen turned off for a second or two, then all the display items on the screen turned on like when the unit is first powered on.

I tried the test again with both AC and DC outputs on, and the issue repeated. I tried it with the AC output only turned on, and it repeated.

I’ve tested it twice with only the DC output turned on, and so far the unit is not resetting itself in that scenario. Without shutting the unit off, I disconnected the bluetooth, turned the AC output on, then re-connected and it stayed running.

The app (on Android) just updated within the last day or two, and the app tells me my firmware is all up to date.
