Curious if there is a work around for my EB3A that won’t charge when connected to generator power? I have a portable whole home generator WGen12000DF, and when running on gasoline the EB3A will not charge.
Hi @RedSkip , We suspect that your generator’s output voltage exceeds the input range of the EB3A or that the generator’s output waveform is not a pure sine wave. Which version of the EB3A do you have?
If it is the 220-240V version, we can push the generator firmware DSPv2502.12 to you. Please provide us with the SN number and the current DSP version of your EB3A. We will attempt to resolve this issue with an upgrade.
If it is the 100-120V version, unfortunately, there is no new firmware available to fix this issue.
